The following fees are based on the recommended fee schedule as set by the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). Initial Phone Consultation: Telephone consultation to discuss your individual concerns, gather information and offer options for next steps.
Time: 20 minutes
Fee: None, fee waived.
Screening: Brief screening to determine if a speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication or swallowing problem is present and if further assessment indicated.
Time: 30 minutes
Initial Assessment*: Evaluation/testing of the concern/reason for referral.
Time: ranges from 45 minutes to 4 hours (spread over 2 sessions)
Fee**: flat rate, ranges from $130 upwards for the complete assessment. Contact for custom quote.
Individual Therapy/Training*: Personalized therapy/training targeting the goals/areas based on the assessment results.
Time: ranges from 30 minutes to 60 minutes
Fee**: ranges from $70 to $130 per session. Contact for custom quote.
Group Therapy/Training: Therapy/training in a small group for individuals of similar age and goals.
Time: 60 minutes
Consultation/training: education, training and workshops for families, organizations, staff/employers and caregivers.
Time: minimum 60 minutes
*Assessment and therapy details vary for clients who have been in a motor vehicle collision, suffered a concussion/brain injury and have health care expenses covered through a third-party payer (i.e. an automobile insurance company).
**Additional fee applies for travel to clients for assessment or therapy/training sessions.
**When applicable, a 10% discount is offered for blocks of 6 therapy/training sessions paid in advance.
