Connect Speech focuses on helping to build skills and confidence, improve well-being and ensure that services fit what you need most. We are proud to be able to offer private speech therapy services to individuals of all ages in London, Ontario and across the province.

GENERAL SERVICE AREAS
​​Screening: a simple evaluation to determine if a problem is present and if further, detailed assessment is needed.

Assessment: a one-time assessment to evaluate your speech, language, communication, and swallowing concerns using various tests and questionnaires to determine exactly what is happening and what help you will need. 

Therapy/treatment sessions: based on assessment results, a personalized plan is put in place. Therapy is delivered one-to-one, in a small group, or online via OnCall Health. (Frequency is personalized to suit your needs and goals, availability and budget). 

Other services available: documentation, training and education to families/caregivers and other professionals.

AREAS OF SERVICE

  • Early speech & language enhancement: maximizing speech and language development for young children - crucial to later reading and writing.
  • Speech disorders: not able to say sounds clearly; hoarse or raspy voice; repeats sounds or pauses when speaking, i.e. stuttering.
  • Language disorders: not understanding what others say; not able to use words to share thoughts.
  • Cognitive-communication disorders: brain-based speech, language and communication challenges due to conditions such as stroke, concussion/brain injury, or neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia, ALS/Lou Gehrig's or Parkinson's.
